4peeps Forum Rules
Community Rules
1. No graphic material of either a macabre or pornographic nature.
Links or posts will not be permitted.
2. No cursing or swear words.
3. No racism, threatening, flaming, verbal abuse, mocking of members, personal attacks, victimization or hateful posts, or retaliation of any kind against any member or staff member of this board.
4. Posts must keep on topic.
If a post does go off-topic, please try and get it back to the original subject. Otherwise, the topic may be closed.
5. Unacceptable comments.
Please do not post anything rude, hateful, etc, such as 'Brand name sucks'. This may be deleted on sight, and a warning and/or ban may be issued, depending on the severity of the post.
6. No avatar and custom title abuse.
Please respect the avatars if you are to use your own, as well as the custom titles (the text below your avatar). Avatars are to be no more then 125 x 125 in size.
7. Related sites and adverts.
The only links permitted to other sites must be located in your signature or profile, unless it refers to a topic in your post. Please do not place adverts (eg Google Ads) in your signature.
8. No spamming whatsoever.
If you do, you may be warned and/or banned. Hijacking another persons thread with a question/comment is not allowed either. Using unnecessary formatting (such as the entire post in bold) will result in the formatting tags being removed, or the entire post deleted.
9. Please respect the decision of the administrators and moderators.
10. No alternate accounts are allowed.
Creating another account is not permitted, and will result in one either a warning, ban, or IP address ban. Creating five (5) or more accounts will result in you being reported to your internet service provider.
11. Signatures.
Signatures are to be no larger then around 550x170px, and no larger then around 75kb.
13. Warez, crackz, keygens, movies, ISO's, ROM's, product keys, etc.
Direct or indirect links to warez, crackz, keygens, movies, ISO's, ROM's, etc, are not permitted. Requesting this type of content/material is not permitted either. Requesting product keys for ANYTHING is strictly forbidden and anyone found requesting this type of content will be warned on the spot. Please do not host any files of this subject on our servers. We are not responsible for this content, however we take every possible action to remove it.
14. These rules may be changed at any time, and an administrator and moderator's word is final.
Privacy
1) Visitor Notice.
We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (Personal Information) or allows us to contact you. Generally this information is requested when you are asked to register before participating on the message boards or entering a contest.
2) Visitor Consent.
If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still use most of the features on 4peeps Forums, but you will not be able to access areas that require registration.
3) Security.
We strictly protect the security of your personal information and honour your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Your data will be stored on a secure server. The only people who have access to this are the server administrators (our web host), and the site administrators. While we try to keep this data safe, there is always the possibility of security being compromised due to hacking and other malicious attempts. If the security of the site is compromised, we will do everything in our power to fix the issue.
4) Distribution of personal information.
4peeps does not distribute personal information to any third parties. Should this change, we will not distribute any information without your prior express consent. Please be aware that it may be possible, depending on your use of various features on the forums, that some of your personal information is available on publicly accessible web page(s). One example would be using the "My Profile" feature in the Invision Power Board software. Consent to expose some of your personal information in these cases is implied by the use of these features.
5) Child access.
4peeps gives children between the ages of 13 and 18 the ability to publicly post or distribute personally identifiable contact information without prior parental consent. Please take proper measures if you do not wish your child to have access to public forums and message boards. As always, exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in a public forum. If you are younger than 13 years of age, you are forbidden from becoming a member of 4peeps.com Forums or posting information on our message boards without direct parental consent.
6) Enforcement.
If for some reason you believe we have not adhered to these principles, please notify us by e-mail at admin@4peeps.com and we will do our best to determine and correct the problem promptly. Be certain the words "Privacy Policy" are in the Subject line.
